On September 7, we identified an unusual surge in failures across all services that require SSN matching for verification. Transactions were being marked as "requires further attention," despite successful identity matches. This anomaly was traced back to one of Veratad's credit bureau data sources and affected approximately 10% of verification transactions that necessitated SSN matching.

As of September 13, we have resolved the issue in collaboration with the data source provider. Steps are being taken to bolster our monitoring capabilities to catch similar disruptions more swiftly in the future.
